I am an A-level graduate under Petronas Sponsorship programme. I achieved 8A+ and 1A in my SPM examinations, demonstrating a strong academic foundation, particularly in Mathematics. Beyond my own academic achievements, I have practical tutoring experience teaching a Form 5 student who had consistently struggled with Mathematics and had never passed the subject.

After assessing her learning difficulties, I realised that the main issue was not the current syllabus but a weak understanding of the fundamental concepts from previous years. I therefore focused on rebuilding her foundation step by step before moving on to more advanced topics. I also prepared targeted exercises to reinforce each concept and monitored her progress closely, adjusting my teaching methods according to her learning pace.

This experience taught me that effective teaching is not simply about explaining answers, but about identifying the root cause of a student’s difficulties and adapting lessons to suit their individual needs. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students gain confidence while improving their academic performance.
