My name is Balqis, and I am a graduate of Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and recently completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Mathematics) at Universiti Malaya (UM). I am passionate about education and committed to helping students improve their understanding and confidence in learning. I have teaching experience in both primary and secondary levels, having completed my orientation practicum at Victoria Institution and a 3-month full teaching practicum at SMK Seri Hartamas, where I taught Form 2 and Form 3 Mathematics. I have also worked as a substitute teacher at SMK Raja Sakti and have experience conducting tuition classes for primary students and SPM students, as well as home tuition sessions for various year levels. My key strengths include classroom management, communication skills, adaptability to different learning environments, and experience in handling students with varying academic levels. One of my proudest achievements is working with 12 classmates to redesign a Mathematics laboratory (Math Lab) at a SBP in Banting, and I have also presented teaching aids (ABM) to students and participated in the International Innovative STEM Teaching Aid Competition 2024, where I received a Bronze Award.
