Hi! I'm Sabrina, a passionate and patient educator who genuinely enjoys helping children understand and enjoy learning.

Teaching has always been something naturally I do. As the sister among 4 younger siblings, I had many opportunities to help them and find simpler ways to make lessons easier to understand. I have also regularly helped my friends and batchmates throughout my school and university years. In fact, my friends would often come to me whenever they struggled with subjects they found difficult, particularly science-related topics. I would try to explain the concepts using simple language, relatable examples, and step-by-step explanations rather than simply asking them to memorise the answers. Seeing them finally understand something they had been struggling with and become more confident in the subject is what makes teaching so rewarding for me. Whenever they achieved good results, they would come back and thank me for helping them... and those moments strengthened my passion for teaching.

My goal as a tutor is not simply to help students complete their homework, I want them to understand what they are learning, feel comfortable asking questions, and gradually develop confidence in their own abilities. I always believe that when students understand a topic instead of merely memorising it, learning becomes much more enjoyable. I may be new to formal tutoring, but I am not new to teaching :)
