I have been teaching since 2019 which I started tutoring under United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR). Then, I expanded my tutoring experience by teaching students at different levels such as primary and secondary levels on different subjects such as English, Bahasa Malaysia, Science and Mathematics. Currently, I am teaching English using Cambridge syllabus, Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics (Cambridge syllabus), Biology and History. I had also experienced in demonstrating my own Science projects for children from the age of 7 to 10 years old. My full-time job is a therapist/counsellor. Thus, during my teaching I will always incorporate some of my therapeutic skills to better suit the students' needs. My teaching approach is student-centred approach in which I would focus more on my students' weakness and work from there. I am very passionate to help the students improve in their subjects. Moreover, I am currently a PhD candidate at USM, therefore, so I would say my education would help the students to understand better since I am good in explaining complicated concept. I am confident that my experience and passion are the qualities that you are looking for.

Alhamdulillah. teacher Afrina is a very good teacher.From the start, teacher dah pandai approach dia walaupun anak saya bukan jenis senang nak fokus. The way teacher handle dia sangat calm & soft spoken. I really appreciate teacher afrina patience. Honestly, I can see the progress walaupun kdg2 dia terlupa.
